Nordic Dino – semi-automatic aircraft exterior cleaning robot
Aircraft exteriors come in many different shapes and adapting to each outline whilst avoiding sacrificing cleaning quality may look hard or even impossible, but not for Nordic Dino.
Combining both functionality and sustainability has been the foremost objective when designing Nordic Dino. With that in mind, the innovative rotating brush concept was created. Unlike other designs, the articulating brush head consists of two brushes, which adjust automatically to the shape of the surface, allowing the robot to cover large areas and reach its maximum efficiency on many aircraft profiles. Additionally, a self-adapting brush reduces the use of detergent and water and, in some cases, can cut washing times by 80%.
Nordic Dino comes in three different configurations (Dino NB, Dino WB, and Dino XWB), which makes the robot suitable for any carrier or company worldwide.
